I used to hide my use of weed heavy. always looking over my shoulder, making excuses, downplaying it with certain people. felt like I was living two versions of myself.

then one day I just got tired. told a close very christian mate straight up yeah, I use, it helps me stay level. didn’t try to justify it, didn’t overshare. just honest.

weirdly, it didn’t push anyone away. it brought in the right ones. now I don’t feel like I’m living in secret. feels better smoking with integrity than hiding in the shadow of stigma.
