Keeping Your Balance@SuaresJ agree for ages i had such dificulties doing a ollie that basically all i could do was just ride as all the tricks require to know a ollie, but once you get it it will be great mate

Keeping Your Balanceabsolutly ollie, almost every trick is based on it. but i would recomend staying off the grass whie learning it. It will just make it much harder to learn

Keeping Your BalanceI agree with you. Most skating progression comes down to balance, foot placement, and learning how to shift weight without overcorrecting. The fundamentals matter more than chasing harder tricks too early.
For a first trick, the ollie is still the foundation. It teaches timing, board control, pop, and commitment.
